McDonald's Recalls Shrek Collectable Glasses
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with ARC International, of Millville, NJ, are recalling Mcdonalds "Shrek Forever After 3D" Collectable Drinking Glasses. These collectibles are 16 ounce glasses that come in four designs, Shrek, Fiona, Puss n' Boots, and Donkey. The designs on the glasses contain cadmium which can cause adverse health effects over long time exposure.
McDonald's is asking consumers to immediately stop using the glasses and return them to any McDonald's for a refund of $3 each. Consumers are warned that it is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.
