Crib Safety And Lawsuits
Defective cribs cause serious injury or death to thousands of infants every year. In 1982, the federal government issued safety standards for cribs, play yards, bassinets, and portable travel cribs. These regulations set minimum safety requirements for crib components assembly instructions, labeling, decorative elements, mattress size, and allowable amounts of lead in crib paint. These safety standard have not been updated since 1982, so recently the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced that it will revise these standards by the end of 2010.
Accidents Caused By Dangerous Roads
Single car accidents usually involve an automobile leaving the road and colliding with a fixed object or rolling over because of a steep embankment. Since there are no witnesses, government defendants often argue that these accidents are the result of driver carelessness or error. The fact is, dangerous roads may be all or part of the cause of the accident.

Consumer Fraud Prevention In California
The Attorney General has made consumer fraud prevention a top priority. The current economic downturn and housing crisis have given rise to many scams, particularly in the areas of predatory lending, foreclosure consultants, credit repair companies, and debt consolidators and collectors.
In response, the Attorney General is taking action against companies engaged in unlawful activities, obtaining injunctions to shut them down, and recovering millions of dollars in restitution for victimized consumers. The Attorney General cannot provide you with legal advice or represent you in personal legal actions but there are ways you can resolve your complaint on your own.

Bad Faith Insurance Claims
When someone purchases insurance, they hope that they will never have to make a claim. The peace of mind insurance gives assures a person that if something was to happen they would be taken care of. While these companies are there to protect their clients, they also want to make a profit. If an insurance company does whatever they can to 'not' pay out a claim you may need an attorney to recover the benefits owed. You may also seek compensation for wages lost during the court case, expenses made proving your case, emotional distress, lawyer fees, and in extreme cases, punitive damages (punishment for the insurer for their bad behavior).
