Nissan Recalls Brake Pedals And Gas Guages
Nissan will be recalling almost 300,000 pickup truck, sport utility and minivan vehicles in the U.S. regarding problem with brake pedals and gas gauges.
On some 2008-2010 Titan pickups, 2008-2010 Armada SUVs and 2008-2009 Quest minivans a pin in the brake pedal assemblies may come loose causing reduced braking power. Owners of these vehicles will be notified by mail starting late March.
In a separate recall, some 2005-2009 Armadas, 2005-2009 Titan, 2006-2008 Frontier pickups, 2006-2008 Xterra SUVs and 2006-2008 Pathfinder SUVs will be recalled for faulty gas gauges. A sensor in the tank may show you have a quarter tank of gas when it is empty. Owners of these vehicles will be notified by mail beginning in late March and April.
