Mazda To Recall CX-9's For "Hot Seats"
Mazda has announced a recall for certain 2010 CX-9 vehicles with heated front seats. Under cold conditions, the seat heat controller can overheat due to poor grounding. This can cause high temperatures which could lead to burn damage on the cushions and could eventually lead to smoke and fire.
Dealers will install another grounding harness on the heater control system and will replace any control circuits and seats that have been damaged due to this problem. The safety recall is expected to begin the beginning of March.
